Start your week feeling great with this lovely feel good class

A really great way to start the week, jargon free, practical, straight forward and it works!” Ali

The art of breathing is particularly poignant for our physical, mental and emotional health. Learning to breathe well can improve your overall wellbeing and balance the nervous system. The class begins with a grounding practice to put you in touch with how you are feeling. We then play with a variety of simple breathing and movement practices. Paula draws from techniques such as Tai Chi and Yoga as well as hybrid sequences she has created over time that she finds helpful and effective. The movements are flowing and very easy on the joints. For the last part of the class we return to a quiet practice focusing again on our breathing.

Chairs can be used for the quiet mindful parts of the practice and the movement section is slow and gentle and can be done either in your chair or standing - whichever suits you best.

What matters is that you feel easy to be as you are and that you feel welcome.

Paula aims to make the classes friendly and accessible and will introduce you to some every day effective ways of finding “a little bit of peace” in our busy world. It’s a very practical and relaxed approach - no experience is necessary, wear loose comfortable clothes, all that is required is your presence and your curiosity.
