"Same Old Dream Trick Landscape"

“same old dream trick landscape” brushes between day and night, sleep and awake, memory and making. Colour changes mood, mood flits in and out of sound and shape and objects speak to one another, teetering reality, memory and illusion in a sensory exhibition that feels like an equally clear and hazy dream. 

Bringing together drawing, installation, performance, and assemblage, experience Jenni Mac’s familiarly unfamiliar backroom, a sentient room of characterful multidimensional objects, activated by action and sentient in situ. There is a tenderness and beauty, alongside something uncanny and curious.

Come to Drywater on March 14th for a preview of the exhibition featuring solo and group performances from Mac and the PerHaps Now! Performance Troupe. These performances will be responsive, “activating” the artworks within the space at sporadic intervals, and repeated multiple times during the event.
