Working with communities is at the heart of what we do. Find out about our current projects and how to get involved below.

OUR COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Education Kin

Dry Water have a wealth of experience in working with children and young people involving them in all sorts of exciting creative processes.

KIN

Our latest community project KIN focuses on ideas about kindness and kindred in a Covid conscious world. Central to our project is the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi which teaches us how to value what we have, and importantly how to value the processes of repair, renewal and change.

Amble 2021 Festival Of Light - ReKINdle

It's that time of year again when Amble does what it does best and shines. This year there will be some strategic changes to the Amble Light Festival but we think it will be even better.

The Covid Quilt Of Connections

We would love you to be part of our online quilting project and importantly there is no need to sew! Quilts and quilting are wonderful symbols of community, bringing together individual expression into a cohesive whole.

Body Wise

A dance to health programme led by Paula Turner. Classes help to improve balance and flexibility, keep your heart healthy, reduce stress and boost memory. They are also known to make you smile!

Curiosity Cafe

Curiosity Cafe is our flagship dementia positive programme. It puts people living with dementia, their carers and families at the heart of every activity. A dynamic and joyous programme developed via direct consultation with the people who live with dementia. Our collective aim is to change the story and negative stereotypes often associated with dementia and to show what is possible in the here and now.
