We are delighted to welcome published author, poet and playwright Ellen Phethean for a special creative writing workshop for the Puffin Festival.

This workshop will celebrate the unique bird life of Amble.

Ellen is a wonderfully warm, encouraging and experienced facilitator who will help you shape your ideas into poignant prose.

Ellen lives, teaches and writes in Newcastle upon Tyne. Ellen’s had work broadcast and performed on Radio 4. She’s written a number of plays for Northumbria University. Her books include Poetry: Wall, Smokestack Books 2007; Breath, 2014, Portrait of the Quince as an Older Woman, Red Squirrel Press 2014.
