Listening to artist Iain Bolton

A very informative and heart felt conversation with Iain Bolton . Thanks to everyone who came to join in the exchange and the wonderings. Iain’s connection to place , people and memory made this a wonderfully involving experience which added to the reading/viewing/sensing of his hauntingly beautiful exhibition “ The Disappearing Quiet”

I urge you to keep tabs on Iain and plans he has brewing for potential art pop ups which foreground the forgotten and overlooked . The overwhelming feeling I had from listening to him talk was that he cares……let’s hope that caring along with the quiet will not always be disappearing . It’s up to us all to make choices that ensure that caring and quietude can co exist and have their place amidst the cut and thrust and noise of the wider world.
