A Rewarding and Creative 2022

Wishing you all joyful Christmas and a very happy 2023.

We have had an amazingly rewarding and creative year here at Dry Water Arts Centre Amble. We have introduced new classes and programmes and hosted a week of creative community workshops for the Puffin Festival.

We’ve curated the amazing and quite spectacular ReKINdle light festival which brought over 2500 thousand visitors into Amble. Huge thanks to the team of volunteers who gave their time, skills and friendship to make this memorable event a reality.

“It was absolutely amazing. One of the best events of this type we have been to for years. It was so beautiful. We were enraptured by all the elements which worked together so well against the back drop of the pier and Little Shore on what was a beautiful autumn evening. The apparent simplicity belies the hours of planning and hard work which must have gone into this. Thank you for all your hard work and creativity.” S.R.

In addition for the past year we have facilitated the Kin project

#wearekin with its focus on kindness and kinship and the gold which rests at the heart of our community. The gold we discovered was actually all of you and all that we managed to do together post Covid -

Making meaning through art and friendship.

“A murmuration of Voices

A synergy of movement

A Togetherness

A Kinship

A rebuilding of our lives

Giving us hope; fellowship and love.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us by attending classes by volunteering by participating or befriending.

We wish you all a Happy Christmas and a fantastic New Year and look forward to seeing you all in January. With every good wish to you and your family from Paula and Frances.
