Silver Clay Keepsakes

Cost: £55  (£50 for Friends of Dry Water)

Silver clay is fabulous for making real silver jewellery and is very easy to use. On this course we will be making silver keepsake jewellery with photographs set into the silver with a resin finish. You can make these to any shape you wish. You will learn how to shape, join both wet and dry silver clay, as well as how to make a pendant bail for your pendant chain. Once fired you will add your photograph and protect with resin.

The course includes 10g of silver clay, a necklace and silver wire to make ear wires, resin and all other equipment and materials. This is enough for several small pieces of jewellery.

Additional silver clay / findings and chains are  available to purchase on the day.

Coffee / Tea and cake is included in the price

On booking please email us photographs that you would like to use so that they can be prepared and printed prior to the workshop . Images will be reduced to approximately 1- 1.5cm
