Carborundum printing is a simple method of creating textured printing plates which produce vibrant and textured prints. You will learn how to use a range of carborundum grits and glues to create your plate followed by inking and printing your plates on a range of papers using our lovely Wilfred Kimber press. You can also experiment with using your plate to create an embossed image.
Suitable for complete beginners or those wanting to develop their skills
All materials included as well as tea / coffee and cake.
You will be using inks & paint, so bring an apron or wear suitable clothes
Please bring found images, sketches or ideas you would like to work with. Sample images will also be available.
